The release is due to demand from those unable to access the original release of 'The Other Sides', which was part of the 2018 remastered box sets featuring B sides and extra tracks that had never appeared on an album. 'The Other Sides' is no longer available. 3 of the tracks on 'Best of The Other Sides' have been remastered. The release comes at a time when Kate's song 'Army Dreamers' is skyrocketing online, looking set to become her second most streamed track after 'Running Up That Hill'.
