The AT4033a’s 80Hz high-pass filter easily switches between flat frequency response and a low-end roll-off that diminishes ambient noise and popping with closely-miked vocals. The AT4033a is the same microphone as the AT4033/CL. The AT4033a comes equipped with the AT8449a shock mount whereas the AT4033/CL included the AT8449 shock mount.
